From “The Flawed One”
A king who is surrounded by beauty
is a king blinded by his reflection
and vanity.

I’m pleased to say, my poem “Fog rises over river” has been published in Three Line Poetry’s 45th issue. See issue #45 here at Three Line Poetry.
From “A Prayer for Rain”
Peace is never without envy for the
hunger of power is never quelled by
the full belly, bloat of satisfaction,
but solely by the art of conquest, the
acquisition of something that rest not
in your palms, but in someone else’s.
From “The Oracle of Cisthene” :
Oracle tells no lies to the men who
come to it want to hear. He who believes
he is without worry worries the most
for what lies beyond his control.
Excerpt #1 from my forthcoming book, Medusa – The Lost Daughter.
From “The Gorgon Awaits Her Fate”
Fate binds goddess and monster like a knot
of twine woven tight, restricted, hard to
remove, without fraying the core. A king’s
fate cannot be changed without a gift of
blood given at the altar of those gods
he angered with his pride.

#24 In the spirit of the recent Wonder Woman movie, who is your favorite super hero –real or not? Write about it.
#23 You find a torn piece of paper in the gutter. Handwritten are the words: I did all that you told me. Now what?
So excited! My book “Medusa: The Lost Daughter” will be coming out this fall! Yes! This is a long collection of narrative poetry based on the Medusa myth. Will post more when it is released!
Can’t wait!
